Lord’s Day 22

Q58. How does the article concerning life everlasting comfort you?

Even as I already now experience in my heart the beginning of eternal joy, so after this life I will have perfect blessedness such as no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no human heart has ever imagined: a blessedness in which to praise God eternally.

Question

58. What comfort do you draw from the article of "life everlasting?"

Answer. That since I already feel in my heart the beginning of eternal joy, I know that after this life I will inherit perfect salvation, which "eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man" to conceive; and that I will praise God in it forever.
