Q84. What doth every sin deserve?

Every sin deserveth God's wrath and curse, both in this life, and that which is to come.

Answer. By God's wrath and curse, which every sin doth deserve, is meant, all those punishments which God in his wrath hath threatened to inflict upon sinners for their sins.
