Q75. What is Baptism?
Baptism is an ordinance of the New Testament, established by Jesus Christ, given to the person being baptized as a visible sign of their union with Him in His death, burial, and resurrection, of their being grafted into Him, of the forgiveness of sins (Mark 1:4; Acts 22:16), and of their commitment to surrender themselves to God through Jesus Christ, to live and walk in an entirely new way of life.
